WODNB Tour 2009 Featuring DJSS, Chase and Status, Tali, G1, Influx UK, Kenny Ken, Greenlaw and MC Biggie.

It had been almost a year since we had seen our UK family ; MC Biggie, Tali, DjSS, Kenny Ken, Influk, G1, and meeting for the first time Chase and Status. As soon as we met everyone in Whistler we knew this was going to be a wicked time. Like SS says one bad apple can spoil the whole apple cart. Touring non stop can be mentally and spiritually draining and it is so imperative to have a good crew….and we did. Non stop laughs from the beginning, all of the shows were packed, full of good vibes and all of the artists gave 100 percent jet lag and all. 

DJSS as always was a solid unstoppable force. Whipping every crowd into a frenzy and getting mad love and respect. SS works so hard to make these events happen by the time the tour actually starts every cell in his body is tired. But he powers on and always takes care of his crew. WODNB is his brand and he should be very proud. Alot of people after the shows were saying that WODNB Events are like the revival of DNB, a new sound and energy, SS A YOU DAT !! Greenlaw is stoked to be part of this movement. Much Respect SS !

MC Biggie bought a new top of the line camera and was taking pics of everything from his dinner plate to lamp posts to my good luck crystals. His presence on the tour was invaluable. Always positive, always smiling and always rocking the crowd with his larger than life talent. At the end of the shows he would call everyone to the stage and thank us one by one. This brought a real sense of unity amongst us and gave the audience a chance to show some extra love. Nice One Biggie!! Even when we all missed our plane to LA and they said all flights were full Biggie just kept on singing and smiling ……we all made it on the next flight by the way.

Tali was a shining star as always, and showed everyone why she is a two time award winning DNB MC!! This woman has got some serious skills and style. Every city showed Tali love, she was always a pleasure to watch and to be around. Its nice to have another girl on the road too I am sure she will agree. Much Love Tali !! 

Kenny Ken 
Aside from being an incredibly talented DJ. Kenny Ken is an amazing guy. Oz and I really enjoyed getting to know him and watching him rock every crowd he played for. One of his favourite shows was Sugar in Victoria BC 
He loved the vibe and energy of the island peeps and they loved him back!! Big Up to Kenny Ken we learned alot from his presence. 

Chase and Status 
Oz and I quickly learned why CAS won album of the year !! People went nuts when he stepped to the decks. His unique style and sense of humour was a perfect addition to the tour. I see big things ahead for CAS. and I and I know we all appreciated his calm grounded vibe. 

Much respect to G1 and  who joined everyone in Sanfran. G1 represented hard and his skills are ridiculous !! Hes got enough energy and talent for 10 people definitely one of the hardest working MC’s I know. “G1 we hope this is the first of many tours with you. One of the top highlights was listening to your new tunes in our hotel wicked my friend wicked !! ”
It was so nice to connect with Influx, aside from being an amazing intelligent musician he is such a sweet soul, and his vibe and skills are always a 10 out of 10

I wish we could have caught the rest of his shows but after LA, Oz and I broke away from the Crew and headed to Redlands, to continue our adventure and play some shows. Our favorite of which was this sweet Venue called The Vault.
In closing Greenlaw would like to thank everyone involved in WODNB 2009 it feels good to be part of such a powerful movement.
